EO Companies Ignite Internship Program sparks career interest in the next generation of Southwest Virginia’s workforce. The program helps bridge the gap between the worlds of learning and work by connecting schools and students with employers and employees. This experience provides students with the opportunity to work alongside a mentor and learn more about the organization and develop/deepen work readiness skills. While most students can obtain regular, entry-level jobs during the summer, Ignite Internships provide unique opportunities above entry level for students to see firsthand the potential they could secure in the workforce.
