Funding to expand child care in Southwest Virginia announced Monday

Child care in Southwest Virginia is receiving $1.2 million in grant funding that will help economic development by expanding the region’s workforce.
Gov. Glenn Youngkin announced the grant Monday for the Ready SWVA project, which is an economic development project specifically targeted toward workforce expansion, state officials said.
