A year-round worksite simulation center and in-class curriculum will provide K-12 students across Southwest Virginia a once-in-lifetime experience with local employers.
School tours, field trips, and special camps will bring an estimated 25,000 students to the Hub every year. Activities and curriculum align with the Virginia Department of Education’s 17 career clusters and help spur interest in our region's manufacturing and STEM jobs. This is the first facility in our region and is likely to become a hallmark of successful rural workforce development.
