Bluefield, VA safeTALK Suicide-Alert Training

Description: LivingWorks safeTALK is a four-hour in-person workshop where you’ll learn how to be more alert to someone thinking of suicide, how to reach out to them, and how to help them keep safe by promptly connecting them to further support. Cumberland Mountain Community Services Prevention Department will be offering a free safeTALK training to the community and Regional Adult Education students at the SWCC Bluefield Center on January 13, 2025 from 1-4 pm. Register by emailing prevention@cmcsb.com or dkeith@cmcsb.com. Rapid Revive training with free Narcan will be offered following the safeTALK training.
